'RR Squad Takes Shape; Here Are All Key Updates From Day 2 of IPL 2025 Auction'

A packed second day of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 player auction for Rajasthan Royals saw several big-ticket names being splurged upon by the team. The Royals brought in two new players on day 2, while retaining three key star players.

In a move that will surely help them make their mark in this season's IPL, RR retained Sanju Samson and Yuvraj Singh. The addition of Jos Buttler saw the team bring back one-time India international and former Rajasthan icon Ajinkya Rahane from a 'retained player' list for the second time.

The team purchased Will Jacks for Rs 6 crore, marking an impressive start to their auctions. Additionally, they bought Matthew Rennolds for Rs 18lakh against Rs 3crore on Sunday and acquired Pradeep Sangwan for Rs 2 crores but this was traded off.

Here is a list of all players who have been brought in by the Royals: Prashantsolanki (Rs 60 lakh), Mahipal cramps (20 lakhs), Pradeep sangwan to Rajasthan royals bought by another side and will be traded with Rajasthan royals (2 crores for 18lakh).
