Rijiju Pushes for Constitutional Literacy Amidst Preparation for Constitution Day
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju emphasized the significance of grasping the India's Constitution, stating that although many refer to it, its foundational aspects are often overlooked. This was just days ahead of the nation observing National Constitution Day at the Samvidhan Sadan.
Rijiju expressed his hope that every Indian gains adequate knowledge about the Constitution, as preparations for the commemorative event ramp up. To promote constitutional literacy, Rijiju announced the publication of insightful booklets aimed at educating citizens.
"The booklet will highlight the basics of our country's Constitution, with a larger book to narrate its making and historic journey," Rijiju said. The comprehensive guidebook is being designed to cater to diverse readers by incorporating images that represent each chapter.
Moreover, this novel educational initiative underscores the Minister's endeavour to bring constitutional knowledge closer to the Indian citizens at an accessible level.
