Incidents of brand ambassadors of various Android smartphone companies using iPhones do not surprise anymore. There have been several who have been ‘caught’ using an iPhone. The list includes Samsung’s ex-brand ambassador in Russia Ksenia Sobchak, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, tennis icon David Ferrer. Ksenia was even sued by Samsung for using iPhone X while on television. But if the CEO of a smartphone company is ‘caught’ using an iPhone, heads are bound to turn. It seems like Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has started using an iPhone or has been using it for some time. Suspicions were raised due to a tweet by him.

On November 16, Sheth tweeted about a new update for Realme 3 and 3i. Upon a closer look, ” Twitter for iPhone” could be clearly seen at the bottom right of the tweet. See for yourself in this screen grab, courtesy GizChina. The tweet has been deleted by the way.

It may not be him who tweeted with an iPhone. Since several top official accounts are maintained by a publicity team, chances are that someone from the team tweeted about Realme 3 and 3i updates using an iPhone. But if it is true (and it’s also true that the truth of Realme India CEO using an iPhone could not be confirmed further), he joins the list of people who have made blunders using an iPhone when they were actually representing some other brand. Only difference is, they weren’t the CEO of an Android smartphone company that has seen tremendous growth in India within a short span of time since it came into existence in May 2018.

Earlier, reports of OnePlus brand ambassador Robert Downey Jr.–who plays Marvel superhero Iron Man in the live-action films– using Huawei P30 Pro had surfaced. Also, in another news, actress Gal Gadot, as a brand ambassador of Huawei, was ‘caught’ when she tweeted about a new Huawei device using an iPhone.
