Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani Join Hands with KLO Sports as Co-Owners

Mumbai: Bollywood actors Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani have partnered up with KLO Sports as co-owners of the Hyderabad Superstars team in the upcoming World Pickleball League (WPBL), a global franchise-based pickleball league. The WPBL, co-founded by former tennis players Gaurav Natekar and Arati Ponnappa Natekar, will host its inaugural season starting from January 24 to February 2.

The Hyderabad Superstars are set to compete in the league, which aims to promote pickleball across India. Rakul Preet Singh expressed excitement about joining the World Pickleball League, stating that it's an "exciting new chapter" in her sports journey. She wished the team the best of luck and looked forward to popularizing and inspiring players from Hyderabad and across the country.

Jackky Bhagnani shared similar sentiments, highlighting pickleball as one of the most popular sports across generations. The duo expressed their enthusiasm about training a formidable roster of Indian and international players under renowned coach Jonny Andrews, who has extensive experience in pickleball dating back to 2016.

KLO Sports, co-owned by Sanjay Jupudi and Srinath Chittoori, had announced the acquisition of the Hyderabad Franchise named 'Hyderabad Superstars' earlier this month. The team is ready to take on the challenge and make a mark in the World Pickleball League.
