Punjabi Singer Guru Randhawa Urges Nation Unity Amidst Pakistan Tension

Mumbai, May 13 (Alayaran.com NewsDesk) - Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa has penned a heartfelt note on social media, urging the nation to stand united during the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan.

In his Instagram post, Randhawa emphasized that India is not just a country but an emotion that transcends caste, religion, language, or background. Stressing the importance of unity, he wrote: "India is not just a country, it is an emotion, a bond of oneness."

According to the singer, anyone who speaks against the country does not deserve the privileges of being an Indian. "Whether Indian by birth or by heart, anyone who speaks against our motherland does not deserve [them]."

Expressing solidarity with the Armed Forces, Randhawa reiterated that every Indian will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them if need arises.

Randhawa concluded his message by reiterating the "Unity in diversity" motto. India's diversity, he said, is its beauty but its nation always comes first.

India and Pakistan agreed on a ceasefire last Saturday but Pakistani forces flouted it just two hours later, casting uncertainty over both sides.

The Indian Armed Forces have launched an operation, titled Operation Sindoor, to avenge the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that claimed around 26 innocent lives.
