Prime Video Launches Premium Korean Entertainment Channel 'Channel K'

In a move to capture the thriving demand for Korean content in India, Prime Video has launched its premium Korean entertainment channel, 'Channel K', as an add-on subscription service. The channel offers a wide range of popular Korean series, movies, K-pop concerts, and reality shows, catering to fans of global icons like BTS.

For just Rs 79 per month, or with a limited-time offer of Rs 1 for the first month, Prime subscribers can access exclusive content like 'Summer Strike', 'Personal Taste', 'Joint Security Area', 'The Battle: Roar to Victory', and behind-the-scenes footage featuring BTS stars including '2024 BTS FESTA: Message from Jin'.

"We are thrilled to introduce Channel K to our Indian members", said Gaurav Bhasin, head of marketplace (add-on subscriptions and movie rentals), Prime Video. "Over the past few years, we have seen tremendous growth in the popularity of Korean content on Prime Video in India, and now we're excited to offer a new level of Korean entertainment with this latest launch."

Prime members can access Channel K seamlessly through their existing Prime Video accounts, enjoying features like personalized recommendations, X-Ray, watch lists, offline downloads, and data consumption management.
