PM Modi's Vision of 'One Nation, One Election': Rijiju Emphasizes Unify Voting System for India's Progress

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has emphasized the importance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for "One Nation, One Election," suggesting that this system is crucial for India's progress. According to Rijiju, PM Modi stated that holding elections every five years followed by uninterrupted work for five years was essential to move the country forward.

Rijiju unveiled that a report on "One Nation, One Election" prepared under the leadership of former President Ram Nath Kovind will soon be presented in Parliament. He highlighted the significance of unified voting, stating that India being one nation and requiring a single electoral process uniform across the country is vital.

"This system is essential as it ensures that every citizen's voice is heard," Rijiju said, underscoring the importance of making voting process cohesive and accessible to all.

According to Rijiju, during Parliament session commencing on November 25, multiple bills will be introduced with discussions expected to focus on flagship issues like "One Nation, One Election."
