PM Modi's Vision For 'One Nation, One Election' Emphasized As Key To India's Progress

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has stressed the importance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for 'One Nation, One Election', suggesting that this system is crucial for India's growth and development.

According to Rijiju, this concept aims to hold elections every five years followed by uninterrupted work periods of a similar duration. He revealed that a report on 'One Nation, One Election' prepared under the leadership of former President Ram Nath Kovind will be submitted in Parliament shortly.

Rijiju argued that unified voting is essential, as India is indeed one nation and a uniform electoral system should apply uniformly across the country. This concept holds significance in ensuring effective governance and achieving sustainable development.

It has been decided to introduce multiple bills during the upcoming Parliament session set for November 25, where discussions on vital subjects including 'One Nation, One Election' are likely to take place.

In another development, several schools in Delhi have shifted to online classes due to rising pollution levels. The government has also enforced strict measures under GRAP-IV to deal with the issue of poor air quality in the city.
