Living in Sweden was a stark contrast to her life in New York. "I loved the safety of living in Sweden," said Webb, who enjoyed the freedom to walk home late at night without worry. She also embraced the affordability of living there, with her dorm costing around $6,000 annually and her degree totaling approximately $9,000, significantly less than U.S. standards.
Webb's time in Sweden was marked by extensive travel across Europe, made possible by the continent's proximity and efficient transport systems. "I could catch a flight with a friend and go somewhere for two or three days before we flew back for classes," she shared. However, post-graduation, she found it challenging to secure employment in Sweden, prompting her return to the U.S.
Despite not staying in Sweden long-term, the experience was transformative. Webb transitioned from marketing to data analytics, a field she now pursues. "The experience also gave me an opportunity to make lifelong friends that I'm still in contact with," she added.
