New Characters Revealed for Final Season of Popular Anime 'Dr. Stone: Science Future'

The official site of the series 'Dr. Stone' has shared some exciting updates about the fourth and final season of the anime, titled 'Dr. Stone: Science Future', also known as 'Dr. Stone: Science Future'. A new teaser was recently released, revealing two significant additions to the cast: dark scientist Dr. Xeno, voiced by Kenji Nojima, and sniper Stanley Snyder, voiced by Kōji Yusa. These characters are expected to elevate the intensity and intrigue of the series' final arc.

The inaugural episode of 'Dr. Stone: Science Future' will premiere at CCXP (Comic Con Experience), a major entertainment event in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from December 5th to 8th, serving as a sneak peek into the last season before its main release on January 2025. This animated TV series is being aired by Tokyo MX and will consist of three cours with gaps between them.

For global audiences, the popular streaming platform Crunchyroll has secured the rights to stream 'Dr. Stone: Science Future' in North America, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS. This extensive reach is anticipated to increase the anime's fan base worldwide.

The beloved series 'Dr. Stone' initially premiered on July 14th, 2019, as a television animation. The show's world-wide airing included broadcast on Toonami in August of that year and dubbing by Funimation for fans who wish to follow its storyline. In addition to the anime series, Riichirou Inagaki, famous for his work on 'Eyeshield 21', collaborated with Boichi, known for 'Sun-Ken Rock', on the highly anticipated manga series - 'Dr. Stone'. It originally began serialization in 'Weekly Shonen Jump' and ran until it was concluded in March 2022. Its global success warranted a translation by Viz Media and digital publication through 'Manga Plus'.
