Nations Largest Regional Sports Network to Offer Single-Game Pricing

Southport, Conn. - In a significant move to increase flexibility for fans, Diamond Sports Group, the nation's largest owner of regional sports networks, announced Tuesday that it will offer single-game pricing for NBA and NHL games starting December 5.

The decision allows viewers to purchase individual games at $6.99, with the option to subscribe to monthly or season passes on FanDuel Sports Network's direct-to-consumer streaming package. Diamond Sports Group owns 16 RSNs and has the rights to 13 NBA teams and eight NHL teams.

FanDuel Sports Network CEO Michael Schneider said the addition of single-game pricing enhances the flexibility of their offering, providing viewers with more viewing options. "We remain committed to delivering an array of viewing options and features to make it easier for our viewers to watch their favorite teams," he stated in a statement.

The move comes as Diamond Sports Group emerges from bankruptcy proceedings, which have been ongoing since March 2023. The company filed for Chapter 11 protection in the Southern District of Texas and listed $8.67 billion in debt in its financial filing last year.

As the company navigates this period, fans now have more options to enjoy their favorite NBA and NHL teams at home.
