New Delhi, Dec 19: The National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) has announced that this year's edition of the prestigious National Science Drama Festival will take place on December 27-28 in the capital, promising an engaging experience for both participants and audiences alike.

The Ministry of Culture stated, "The intersection of science and literature shapes thinking, while science communication through diverse media cultivates a scientific mindset, countering misinformation and superstition, and fostering informed citizens in today's world." This year's festival is expected to live up to the excitement of its previous editions, with enthusiastic participation, vibrant performances, and compelling plays by talented young students.

The NCSM has successfully leveraged drama as an innovative tool for science communication, partnering with theatre professionals to create dynamic and interactive experiences that convey the essence of science. The event aims to showcase creativity among students in a variety of subjects, including artificial intelligence, climate change, water conservation, and medical breakthroughs.

This two-day event has been successfully organised at block, district, and state/UT levels across all 28 states and eight Union Territories, attracting a large number of enthusiastic students who participate in showcasing creative science dramas.
