Mukesh Khanna Declares Tiger Shroff Unsuitable to Play Superhero Role of Shaktimaan

Mumbai, [Today's Date] - Actor Mukesh Khanna has once again expressed his opinion on who could play the superhero role of Shaktimaan in a planned theatrical reboot. He has been open about his disapproval of Ranveer Singh and Tiger Shroff for the role, citing their suitability and the stature required to portray the character.

In an interview with ABP's Entertainment Live, Khanna stated that neither big names like Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, or Ajay Devgn could play Shaktimaan due to their established image. However, he surprised audiences by saying that Ranveer Singh is also not suitable for the role because of his existing image.

Instead, Khanna cited Tiger Shroff's youthful energy as his reason for dismissing him from the role. "If Tiger Shroff tells a child to flush the toilet as Shaktimaan, the kid will turn around and say 'Tu baith jaa' (Sit down)," he said, highlighting Shroff's lack of gravitas.

Khanna emphasized that playing Shaktimaan requires not only physical strength but also intelligence, wisdom, and a strong character. He believes that Tiger Shroff lacks the required stature to portray the superhero.

In an earlier interview, Khanna had mentioned that Ranveer Singh is desperate to play the role and expressed his willingness to give approval as the producer if anyone could take over the role.

A Shaktimaan film was announced in 2022 with Ranveer Singh attached to play the lead and Basil Joseph set to helm. However, no concrete updates have been provided on the project due to Khanna's opinions against certain actors.

The news comes ahead of the latest developments in the project, leaving fans eager for an update on who will ultimately step into the iconic superhero role.
