Mohun Bagan Super Giant Look to Regain Form Against Jamshedpur FC
Kolkata, December 1 - Mohun Bagan Super Giant will be eager to break their国际 break to regain their winning momentum when they host seventh-placed Jamshedpur FC in an Indian Super League (ISL) match here on Saturday.
A victory at home could see the city giants climb to the top of the points table and catch up with table-toppers Bengaluru FC, who currently lead with 17 points from eight matches. The green and maroon brigade have accumulated 14 points from seven games, winning four times including three consecutive wins, and two draws.
"We are well aware of the opportunity in front and we expect our boys to get straight into the groove after the break," said head coach Jose Molina. "We don't have anything special to work on, the players know what is required."
Despite facing fitness issues, Molina remains confident in his team's abilities. "We can make changes in the lineup due to injuries, but I am certain that our players will be able to fill in and give their best," he added.
On the other side, Jamshedpur FC assistant coach Steven Dias believes that his team is due for a turnaround after recording back-to-back poor performances. "As a coach, every team goes through phases like this, so it's essential that we bounce back with a positive result tomorrow," Dias said.
With both teams looking to regain their form, Saturday's match is expected to be an intense contest between Mohun Bagan Super Giant and Jamshedpur FC. The win could be a crucial boost for the Kolkata outfit as they look to reclaim their position at the top of the points table.
