MODI GOVT. UNVEILS REVITALIZATION PLANS FOR ANDHRA P Raidesh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday announced several initiatives and projects aimed at transforming the infrastructure, connectivity, and facilities in Andhra Pradesh.
According to sources from Visakhapatnam, the Prime Minister declared that Andhra Pradesh is one of the states where 100% electrification has been completed in the field of railways. "We are working tirelessly to upgrade the services in this sector," he said.
Notably, over 70 railway stations across Andhra Pradesh are being upgraded under the ambitious 'Amrit Bharat Station Yojana'. In addition, seven Vande Bharat trains and Amrit Bharat trains will be introduced to cater to the convenience of the people living in the state.
The Prime Minister stressed that these developments would bring about a significant change in the infrastructure landscape of Andhra Pradesh. This would not only enhance the ease of living for its citizens but also facilitate business operations.
According to official sources, this transformation initiative is aimed at solidifying Andhra Pradesh’s ambitious goal of becoming a 2.5 trillion dollar economy by shaping a unique economic identity for the state.
During the announcement, the Prime Minister underlined his commitment towards harnessing India's oceanic trade as part of a broader ambition to create a blue-led growth plan across national maritime boundaries that can facilitate new global challenges on and around our seas.
