MedLern and NATHEALTH Launch Digital Health Master Class to Promote Digital Transformation in Indian Hospitals
New Delhi: MedLern, a leading healthtech company, in collaboration with NATHEALTH, has announced the launch of the Digital Health Master Class (DHMC), a comprehensive workshop series aimed at empowering hospital leaders across India to adopt digital technology and transform their operations.
The DHMC program, developed by the Koita Foundation and PwC, is designed to provide necessary tools, knowledge, and resources for hospitals to transition to digital healthcare systems. The workshops, scheduled to commence in cities such as Hyderabad, Indore, Raipur, and Nagpur, will eventually expand to over 50 locations across India.
The program's primary objective is to equip hospital leaders with the skills and insights needed to make strategic digital decisions that can drive operational efficiency, enhance patient care, achieve growth ambitions, and improve financial performance. By adopting cutting-edge digital health technologies such as Health Management Information Systems (HMIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), telemedicine, and patient portals, hospitals can reduce costs, unlock new revenue streams, and significantly enhance the quality of patient care.
"The Digital Health Master Class workshop series serves as a pivotal initiative to empower Indian hospitals with the tools and knowledge needed to harness technology effectively," said Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Secretary-General of NATHEALTH. "We believe that digital transformation is no longer an option but a critical necessity for Indian healthcare providers."
The program offers comprehensive coverage of essential aspects of digital transformation in healthcare, including an introduction to digital health technologies, strategic insights into how digital adoption can drive healthcare transformation, practical guidance for initiating digital health implementation, and effective leadership strategies for ensuring successful and seamless digital transformation.
According to Deepak Sharma, Co-Founder & CEO of MedLern, the benefits of digital transformation are long-term and often underestimated. "The comprehensive program will also offer ongoing support for accessing resources and tools to help hospital leaders successfully realize their digital strategies."
As India continues to push towards its national digital health objectives as outlined under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), initiatives like the DHMC play a crucial role in equipping healthcare facilities with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to achieve this vision.
