Milap Zaveri’s ‘Marjaavaan’ starring Riteish Deshmukh and Sidharth Malhotra opened to an impressive Rs 7 crore at the box-office on its opening day. Although it reportedly did not fare too well in big multiplexes, it did well in single screens and lower priced multiplexes.
Now, according to a report in BoxofficeIndia.com, the film maintained decent collections on its second day too. It collected Rs 7 crore nett approximately which is similar to the amount it grossed on its opening day.

The report also stated that the film is expected to show growth in Mumbai circuits. Monday will be a crucial day for the film and will decide its commercial success. The film has till date collected Rs 14 crore at the box-office.

With this figure, ‘Marjaavaan’ has emerged as Sidharth Malhotra’s fourth highest grosser, beating ‘Kapoor and Sons’ which made Rs 6.58 crore on its first day.

Milap Zaveri has cashed in on the popular ‘Ek Villain’ duo Riteish and Sidharth in ‘Marjaavaan’. Riteish will be seen playing the role of a villain in this film too.

Apart from Sidharth and Riteish, the movie also stars Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles.
The movie hit the theatres on November 15, 2019.
