MANIT Bhopal Invites Applications for Ph.D. Program 2024-25

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh - The Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), recognized as an Institute of National Importance, has opened its doors for Ph.D. admissions for the academic year 2024-25. Aspiring candidates can now apply for various categories under the Ph.D. program, which include Full Time Research Students, Part Time Research Students, Sponsored Full Time, JRF/Project Associates, and internal faculty members.

The institute offers Ph.D. programs across numerous departments and centers such as Architecture & Planning, Biological Science & Engineering, Centre for Artificial Intelligence, and more, ensuring a broad spectrum of research opportunities.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Full Time Research Students, JRF/Project Associates, Internal Faculty Members:
• Engineering: Requires a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the relevant engineering field, with GATE qualification or from an Institute of National Importance without GATE.
• Sciences: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in relevant sciences or engineering with NET/GATE.
• Architecture and Planning: Similar qualifications as engineering but tailored to Architecture and Planning.
• Humanities and Social Sciences: Master’s degree in Humanities/Social Sciences with NET.

Management: Master’s degree in Management/Engineering with NET/GATE.

Sponsored Full Time: Candidates need a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in their respective fields but without the requirement for GATE/NET.

Part Time/Executive Category: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline and have at least two years of job experience, with some relaxations for high academic performers.

The application process requires candidates to submit their applications online through the institute’s ERP system (http://erp.manit.ac.in/ext/adm/login), with a processing fee of Rs. 1500/- (Rs. 1000/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Following the online submission, a hard copy of the application along with necessary documents must be sent to ‘The Assistant Registrar (Academic), MANIT Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh-462003’ by November 25, 2024.
