Malayalam Actress Honey Rose Accuses Activist Rahul Easwar of Cyber Crime in Retaliation to Boby Chemmanur Sexual Harassment Case

Kochi: In a shocking turn of events, Malayalam actress Honey Rose has accused activist Rahul Easwar of allegedly orchestrating a cyber crime to trivialize the seriousness of her complaint against Kerala businessman Boby Chemmanur, who is undergoing trial in connection with allegations of sexual harassment.

Honey Rose had initially filed a sexual harassment complaint against Chemmanur at the Ernakulam Central Police Station in Kochi. The police subsequently registered a case under Section 75 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, and Section 67 of the IT Act. After that, Chemmanur was taken into custody by Wayanad police.

However, the actress has now accused Rahul Easwar of planning an organized crime in cyberspace to distort the seriousness of her complaint and turn public opinion against her. Honey Rose expressed severe mental stress due to Easwar's actions and further alleged that she is facing continuous threats through media outlets.

In a Facebook post, Honey Rose stated: "Rahul Easwar is planning an organized crime in cyberspace intending to distort the seriousness of my complaint and turn public opinion against me. This person is pushing me into severe mental agony. He has repeatedly threatened me personally and through social media." The actress added that Easwar's actions have also tried to tarnish her "dignity as a woman."

Honey Rose subsequently filed a complaint with the Central Police Station claiming that Rahul Easwar was responsible for his deliberate actions of harassment.
