LPU Launches Tech-Focused Programmes to Prepare Students for Digital Era
Lovely Professional University (LPU) has announced the launch of its technology-focused programmes aimed at preparing students for the digital landscape. The university has introduced B.Tech. programmes in Computer Science with specialisations in Robotics and AI, Applied AI, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML), and Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, the latter in partnership with Quantiphi.
The postgraduate level programme includes MBA in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Fintech and AI, designed to bridge the gap between business and technology. The university's "EduRevolution" initiative focuses on practical skill development and student independence in learning.
The launch of these programmes aims to help graduates adapt to the changing global employment landscape, where AI, data analytics, and robotics are essential. The university has seen success in recent placements, with B.Tech. Robotics and Automation students receiving offers from an AI robotics company.
LPU's partnership with Quantiphi marks a significant collaboration between the university and the Quantiphi Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. This alliance aims to equip students with industry-relevant skills and knowledge.
