Lawyer Rams Mercedes into Kachori Shop, Leaves Six Injured in Delhi
In a shocking display of reckless behavior, a lawyer has rammed his speeding Mercedes car into a Kachori shop in the heart of Delhi's Civil Lines area yesterday evening. The incident occurred at Fateh Kachori Road and left six people injured.
According to eyewitnesses, the Mercedes car, being driven by 35-year-old Parag Maini from Noida's Sector 79, was seen speeding on the road before colliding with the shop in a matter of seconds. The force of the impact caused extensive damage to both vehicles, but fortunately, no one was killed.
The injured have been rushed to nearby hospitals, where they are receiving medical attention. "We received reports about a Kachori shop being hit by a speeding car, and we immediately sent our teams to the scene," said Rajesh Srivastava, Head of Central Delhi Police Office. "Six people were injured and were taken to the nearest hospitals for treatment."
Maini, who was driving under the influence of speed, has been arrested and his Mercedes car impounded by the police. He will be charged with Section 279 (rash driving) and 337 (causing hurt by endangering life).
The incident has raised concerns about road safety in Delhi and the need for stricter enforcement of traffic rules to prevent such accidents from happening. The police have assured that they will take necessary action against such incidents in the future.
