LAWYER RAMS INTO KACHORI SHOP, INJURES SIX PEOPLE
A shocking incident of road rage took place in Delhi yesterday when a speeding Mercedes car was driven into a kachori shop in the Civil Lines area, leaving six people injured. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred at Fateh Kachori near Naiwali Street.
The driver of the car, identified as 35-year-old Parag Maini from Noida's Sector 79, was taken into police custody immediately after the incident and has been charged with rash and negligent driving under Section 279 and 337 IPC.
Maini was found to have no valid license on his person at the time of the incident. The police also seized the speeding vehicle after conducting a thorough investigation.
The extent of injuries sustained by six people in the incident is yet to be ascertained, but hospital authorities confirmed that they are receiving treatment for their injuries at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. No fatalities have been reported so far.
