Lawyer Arrested After Crashing Mercedes into Delhi Kachori Shop, Six Injured
A shocking incident took place in Delhi on Tuesday when a lawyer lost control of his speeding Mercedes car, ramming it into a Kachori shop in the Civil Lines area. The police have confirmed that six people were injured in the incident, which occurred at Fateh Kachori.
According to eyewitnesses, the lawyer, Parag Maini, a resident of Noida's Sector 79, was traveling at an extremely high speed when he crashed into the shop, causing widespread damage and injuring several customers and staff members.
The police have taken Parag Maini into custody and seized his car. The officer on duty said, "We have registered a case against the lawyer under Section 279 of the Motor Vehicle Act (rash driving) and Section 337 of the IPC (causing hurt by endangering life). Our priority is to provide medical attention to those injured and to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident."
Six people were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are being closely monitored, with reports indicating that they suffered minor injuries.
The incident has sparked outrage among locals and food enthusiasts who frequent the area, highlighting concerns about safety and roadworthiness in Delhi's urban sprawl.
