Kurukshetra Hosts 11th National Conference on Nanoscience and Instrumentation Technology

Kurukshetra, April 6, 2024 - The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, successfully concluded the 11th National Conference on Nanoscience and Instrumentation Technology (NCNIT-2024) on Saturday. The two-day event, organized by the Department of Physics, featured a series of insightful sessions and presentations.
Dr. PC Tewari, the Public Relations In-charge at NIT, highlighted that the conference included four sessions with three expert talks, two sessions each for poster and oral presentations. Esteemed experts from various prestigious institutions such as Defence Geoinformatics Research Establishment (DGRE-DRDO), Chandigarh, Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIR-CSIO), Chandigarh, and Panjab University were present to deliver keynote and plenary lectures.
A notable presentation was given by Dr. Sachin Tyagi from CSIR-CSIO, who discussed advancements in magnetic and microwave absorbing materials integrated with stealth technology. The conference attracted around 100 participants, showcasing 41 posters and 13 oral presentations.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony where accolades were given for the best presentations. Rajat Prakash, Kanika, Angel, Shubham Saini, Yukti, Shorya Kumar, Lalita Rani, Mamta Kumari, Pooja, Parveen Kumar, and Vikas Kumar were among those honored for their outstanding contributions in both oral and poster categories.
This conference not only served as a platform for sharing cutting-edge research in nanoscience but also fostered a collaborative environment among scientists, researchers, and students from across the nation.
