Kareena Kapoor Khan Opens Up on Husband Saif Ali Khan's Stabbing Incident

In a shocking revelation, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has revealed details about her husband Saif Ali Khan's stabbing incident that took place at their Bandra home in Mumbai. On January 16, an intruder broke into the house and attacked Saif multiple times, leaving him with six stab wounds, two of which are serious.

During his statement to the Bandra Police, Kareena shared that she sent her children Taimur and Jehangir along with their women to the 12th floor immediately after the attack. She added that her husband tried to protect them, and the attacker was unable to reach their younger son Jahangir, fondly known as Jeh.

Kareena revealed that the assailant did not steal anything from the house but was very aggressive. The actor had sent him for a ransom of Rs 1 crore, according to the house help who witnessed the incident and was present at the scene. In the ensuing fight, both Saif and the attacker sustained injuries from his knife.

In an emotional account, Kareena shared that she sought comfort with her sister Karisma after the attack, saying, "After the attack, I was terrified, so Karisma took me to her house."

Saif had undergone a surgery at Lilavati Hospital and has now been shifted to a suite in ICU, where he is undergoing treatment. If reports are to be believed, he may be discharged on January 21.

The incident had occurred when the burglar allegedly barged into their Bandra home around 2:15 am, attacking their house help and then Saif when he intervened. Doctors have removed a 2.5-inch blade from his wound.
