Jeet Adani to Get Married in Private Traditional Ceremony on Friday

Ahmedabad: Jeet Adani, the younger son of industrialist Gautam Adani and Chairperson of the Adani Group, is all set to tie the knot with Diva Jaimin Shah in a private and traditional ceremony on Friday at Shantigram, the Adani township in Ahmedabad.

The couple, who got engaged on March 14, 2023, in a low-key ceremony attended by close family and friends, will usher in the pre-wedding celebrations starting from February 5. The main wedding rituals are scheduled to begin at 2 PM today, adhering to traditional Jain and Gujarati customs.

Gautam Adani has explicitly stated that the wedding will be a simple and family-centric event, contrary to earlier speculations that global celebrities like Taylor Swift might attend. "My upbringing and our way of doing things are that of a common person from the working class," he mentioned in a statement previously. "Jeet is here for Ma Ganga's blessings. The wedding will be a simple and traditional family affair."

Beyond being a grand family occasion, Jeet and Diva's wedding holds a deeper purpose, incorporating meaningful social initiatives. Renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra has collaborated with the NGO Family of Disabled (FOD) to craft custom-made shawls for the bride and groom, while the NGO will create hand-painted wedding essentials such as glassware, plates, and decorative accessories.

Jeet Adani currently serves as Director at Adani Airports and began his career in the Group's CFO office, focusing on strategic finance, capital markets, risk management, and governance policy. Diva Shah is the daughter of Jaimin Shah, a well-known diamond merchant with operations in Mumbai and Surat.

A closer look into the couple's approach to their wedding highlights their commitment to promoting social value. With this wedding, they aim to create an event that combines love with inclusivity and empowerment.
