India's Whirlwind Diplomacy: PM Modi Concludes Five-Day Foreign Visit with 30 Meetings and Informal Interactions

New Delhi, Nov 22 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrapped up his five-day foreign visit to three nations, wrapping up a whirlwind diplomacy that saw him meet over 30 world leaders and hold numerous bilateral meetings during the tour.

During his trip, PM Modi engaged in extensive discussions with global leaders, including bilateral meetings with 12 heads of state or government in Nigeria, Brazil, and Guyana. The prime minister also held informal interactions on several occasions, chatting with leaders from Singapore, South Korea, Egypt, USA, and Spain, among others.

One highlight of the trip was its first bilateral meeting between PM Modi and 5 leaders, including Prabowo Subianto, Luis Montenegro, Keir Starmer, Gabriel Boric, and Javier Milei. The meetings also took place on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Brazil.

Meanwhile, in Guyana, PM Modi engaged in productive discussions with regional leaders, reaffirming India's commitment to its Caribbean neighbors. The conclusion of his state visit marked a significant milestone in strengthening India's global footprint.

"This was a fruitful and engaging tour that showcased India's dynamic growth and increasing stature on the global stage," said an official statement from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The PM departed for New Delhi early this morning, wrapping up his state visits to the three countries.

The five-day expedition encapsulated PM Modi's robust diplomatic outreach, emphasizing India's involvement in regional organizations such as the United Nations and its participation in key global forums like the G20.
