India Vows To Keep Pakistan 'On Notice', Navy's Deployment Cracks Down Pakistan Naval Presence

Mumbai, [Current Date]: The Indian government has sent a stern message to Pakistan, declaring that it has been "put on notice" after the US-brokered ceasefire ended the 100-hour drone and missile war between the two nuclear-armed nations.

The Indian Navy played a crucial role in deterring Pakistan from venturing out into sea, with Vice Admiral AN Pramod revealing for the first time its involvement in the counterstrike against the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam.

"The Navy's carrier battle groups, surface forces, submarines and aviation assets were deployed at sea with full combat readiness shortly after the Pahalgam attack," said the Vice Admiral. This deployment virtually forced Pakistan to remain tied to its ports or coastal regions, thus limiting its ability to retaliate.

According to Indian Army sources, five soldiers lost their lives in "Operation Sindoor", which was launched in response to the terror attack. The Pakistan Army suffered a reported loss of 35-40 personnel between May 7-10, largely due to firing across the Line of Control.

The ceasefire deal brokered by the US, has brought an end to the intense aerial and naval clashes that had been ravaging both countries for over three days.

Tensions remain high on both sides, with neither country having signaled a willingness to yield in recent past. This situation, however, could potentially influence regional as well as international dynamics, particularly given its proximity to global superpower rivalry.
