INDIA EYES BACK-TO-BACK TITLE AS THEY FACE SOUTH AFRICA IN U19 WOMEN'S T20 WORLD CUP FINAL

New Delhi: India is poised to make it back-to-back victories in the ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup as they face off against South Africa in the summit clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium today.
The Indian team, led by captain Niki Prasad, has been on a roll throughout the tournament, with key players like Trisha Gongadi and spinners Vaishnavi Sharma and Aayushi Shukla having wreaked havoc with the bat and ball. Gongadi, in particular, has been eye-catching with his impressive form, scoring 265 runs at an average of 66.25 and a strike rate of 149.72.
Gongadi is not only India's top run-scorer but also just 33 runs away from becoming the highest scorer in a single edition of the tournament, a record currently held by Shweta Sehrawat of India who amassed 297 runs in the previous event.
India has been in outstanding form, with their spinners being particularly effective in the middle overs. Vaishnavi Sharma and Aayushi Shukla have taken 15 and 12 wickets respectively, leaving the South African team with a daunting task to keep them wicketless.
However, South Africa will be looking to buck the trend and cause an upset against their opponents. Led by captain Kayla Reyneke, who has been in good form, the Proteasees will need to find ways to counter India's attack and limit their scoring opportunities.
The match is set to be a thrilling contest, with both teams looking to claim the top prize in what promises to be an exciting finale to the tournament. The India squad for today's game is:
