Dubai, February 11-13, 2025 - The 12th edition of the World Government Summit (WGS) 2025 commenced in Dubai under the theme "Shaping Future Governments." This global gathering brought together prominent leaders, policymakers, and experts to explore emerging trends in governance and critical sectors. Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav represented India at the summit.

The country has set ambitious targets for renewable energy deployment, aiming to deploy 500 GW by 2030 and having already reached 200 GW. Additionally, India is developing climate-resilient agricultural practices through the release of advanced seed varieties designed to withstand extreme weather conditions.
