IIT Roorkee Announces GATE 2025 Exam Date Branch-Wise Schedule
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has finally announced the schedule for the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers (GATE) 2025, which will be conducted over four days. The exam, scheduled to take place on February 1-2 and February 15-16, 2025, will consist of two shifts each day. Aspiring candidates can now check their branch-wise exam dates and timings below.
GATE 2025 Exam Date Branch-Wise Schedule
As per the official schedule, the GATE 2025 exam dates are as follows:
- February 1, 2025: Forenoon session for Agricultural Engineering (AG), Mathematics (MA) - 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- February 1, 2025: Afternoon session for Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (NM), Instrumentation Engineering (IN), Metallurgical Engineering (MT), Textile Engineering and Fiber Science (TF)
- February 2, 2025: Forenoon session for Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), and Petroleum Engineering (PE) - 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- February 15, 2025: Forenoon session for Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (DA), Environmental Science and Engineering (ES), Production and Industrial Engineering (PI), and Biomedical Engineering (BM)
- February 15, 2025: Afternoon session for Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Geomatics Engineering (GE), Humanities and Social Sciences (XH), and Biotechnology (BT)
- February 16, 2025: Forenoon & Afternoon sessions for Civil Engineering (CE) - 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

GATE Admit Card Release
The GATE admit card was issued on January 7, 2025, which includes the branch-wise exam dates, centre details, and timings. Candidates are advised to check their admit cards for accurate information.
