IIT Kanpur and Zynetic Electric Vehicles Charging Forge Partnership to Revolutionize Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions
Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh - The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zynetic Electric Vehicles Charging Private Limited, a leading company in the development, operation, and management of electric vehicle charging stations. This strategic partnership aims to drive innovation in EV charging solutions, focusing on power electronics, AI integration, and predictive maintenance.
Under the MoU, IIT Kanpur and Zynetic plan to collaborate on research, academic exchange, and consultancy to address key challenges in EV charging technology. The joint effort will focus on developing sustainable, high-performance charging solutions for the electric vehicle sector, contributing to India's shift toward sustainable energy solutions.
As part of the collaboration, Professor Manindra Agrawal, Director of IIT Kanpur, stated that the partnership with Zynetic exemplifies how academia and industry can work together to enhance EV infrastructure and support India's environmental goals. The goal is to meet the government's target of 30% EV adoption for new private vehicle registrations by 2030 and develop reliable and efficient next-generation EV chargers.
