Ibrahim Ali Khan Makes Bollywood Debut in Karan Johar’s 'Nadaaniyan', Coming to Netflix Directly
Mumbai, Dec 2 - Bollywood is abuzz with the news that Ibrahim Ali Khan is all set to make his big-screen debut with Khushi Kapoor in director Shauna Gautam's upcoming romantic drama 'Nadaaniyan'. The film, produced under Karan Johar's production house Dharmatic Entertainment, will be releasing exclusively on Netflix.
In a tweetstorm yesterday, the team revealed the first poster of the film, and Khushi Kapoor gave a sneak peek into the project by posting a cryptic picture of a mystery man (now identified as Ibrahim Ali Khan) on her Instagram.
The poster features Ibrahim and Khushi, looking into the camera in casual outfits, sitting on a green field in semi-embrace. This comes days after Karan Johar confirmed his plans to launch Ibrahim under Dharmatic Entertainment.
As per the press release from Netflix, 'Nadaaniyan' is described as a love story at its core, revolving around two young adults from different backgrounds who navigate through a journey filled with mischief and heart. The film will highlight the sweet messiness of first love, showcasing Piya, a bold girl from South Delhi, and Arjun, a determined middle-class boy from Noida.
Additional stars that star in 'Nadaaniyan' include Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj under Dharmatic Entertainment. Directed by debut director Shauna Gautam, this marks an exciting milestone for her career, with the news being revealed yesterday.
