Honda's First Electric Scooter Set to Launch in India on November 27
Mumbai, November 18 (ANI): Honda has announced that its first electric scooter is set to hit the Indian market by November 27. The latest teaser by the company reveals several notable elements and features of the e-scooter.
According to sources close to the matter, the scooter will boast a spacious instrument cluster display featuring a fully Transactional (TFT) interface, which promises to provide customers with real-time data about their ride, including range, riding mode, time, battery life, fuel consumption, among others.
Based on observations made from the teaser image, it appears that the e-scooter is expected to offer an impressive range of over 100 kilometers (km) on a single charge. However, when put into Sports mode, the estimated real-world range for this variant will be between 80 km to 85 km.
The top features of this model include:
- Full LED treatment at both ends
- LCD setup for headlight and taillight on lower variants
- Single shock absorber at rear for improved suspension
- Drum brake setup at the rear section
Despite what's been revealed, the company has kept most details under wraps. Nonetheless, many industry experts expect that Honda is set to make a significant impact with its electric scooter offerings in the Indian market.
