HEADLINE: Chess legend Susan Polgar advises World Chess Championship finalists Gukesh and Ding Liren for crucial final classical match

Dubai, December 12 - In her latest social media post, chess legend Susan Polgar has shared her expert predictions to help D Gukesh and Ding Liren win the highly-anticipated World Chess Championship. As the two players approach their final classical game, Polgar is urging them to adopt specific strategies to outmaneuver each other.

In her statement on game 14, Polgar emphasized the importance of caution for Chinese grandmaster Ding Liren. She advised him to steer clear from time pressure, especially when down an hour on the clock, as he was fortunate to save the penultimate game from collapse in game 13.

"Ding must not continue pushing his luck in the final game," Polgar warned. "A strategic and positional approach would favor India's Gukesh."

Meanwhile, American chess legend turned sports analyst expressed her confidence in D Gukesh to outplay Ding Liren by adopting a winning strategy. According to Polgar, Gukesh should focus on objective chess instead of worrying about the shorter time control playoff match, a lesson he can learn from his predecessor Viswanathan Anand's 2010 loss against Topalov.

"If I were playing you in the final classical game, I would be mindful of the rapid tiebreaker," Polgar said of Ding. "I kept that to the back of my mind, so Gukesh needs to consolidate and think more strategically towards victory."

Another key strategy highlighted by Polgar for Gukesh is conserving valuable time during the final game for Ding Liren's potential blunders under pressure.

"An extra 5-10 minutes on move 31 in game 13 could have made a tremendous difference," Polgar mused.
