Goyal to Advance India-Oman Trade Talks during Bahrain Visit
Mumbai, Jan 26 (ANI): Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's visit to Bahrain is set to focus on advancing the bilateral trade discussions with Oman.
During his two-day visit to the island nation, Indian high commissioner Rohit Singh will hold talks with his Omani counterparts to strengthen ties and resolve outstanding issues. These include discussions over logistics facilitation agreements (LFAs) to make trade between India and Oman smoother and more efficient.
Earlier in the day, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held discussions with the foreign minister of Bahrain on regional security and economic cooperation, including oil trading contracts for Indian firms.
Jaishankar also visited the industrial park Al-Rifai which has attracted interest from several multinational corporations.
