Government-Run Hospitals in Rural Areas Lacking Essential Medical Facilities: Shiv Sena President Sounds Alarming Alert

Jammu and Kashmir, January 5 - A delegation of senior Shiv Sena activists from the region expressed deep concern over the woeful condition of government-run hospitals in rural areas amidst a growing healthcare crisis.
The state's Shiv Sena J&K President Mr. Pt Rajesh Kesri today emphasized that the underfunding led to insufficient medical facilities, posing additional difficulties for the critically-ill. While addressing a regional party gathering, he stressed on the vulnerability and distress faced by patients due to the glaring absence of necessary infrastructure.
Specifically, addressing concerns raised about Arnia block's main hospital, Kesri revealed that this healthcare facility is woefully short of specialized departmental facilities necessary for an efficient handling of medical treatments. Also, insufficient lighting in addition to lacking sanitation facilities has resulted in compromising of crucial patient care procedures.
Kesri emphasized that outmoded and underfunded infrastructure of the old building coupled with deficiency in advanced technology makes managing complex cases extremely daunting as lack of medical imaging tools such as CT or MRI scanners further exacerbated the healthcare scenario. Notably, Kesri pointedly criticized the lack of 24/7 facilities catering exclusively to critical illness diagnosis leading to considerable delays.
A series of regional party leaders including Balveer Kumar and Rajkumar Baba were seen partaking in this regional gathering in addition to Ms Sanjeev Sharma who also expressed their support.
