Frontier Association Organises Annual Sports Day for Mentally Handicapped Students
MARDAN: The Frontier Association for Mentally Handicapped Mardan School recently hosted an annual sports day event, promoting healthy activities among its students. On Monday, the school organized various games such as cricket, running, football, and yoga, which were enthusiastically participated by all.
Speaking to media personnel at the event, Shakoor Khan, Head of the mentally handicapped school, emphasized the importance of motivating the students to engage in physical activities that are beneficial for their overall health and well-being.
The school, which boasts a total strength of 29 students, aims to provide them with top-notch facilities and opportunities similar to those offered by other schools. The event showcased the commitment of the institution towards supporting its students' development, while also highlighting the challenges faced by individuals with mental handicaps.
