Mumbai, India - Indian actor Jim Sarbh has recently shed light on his childhood struggles, revealing that his family was once forced to live in a humble flat provided by the Parsi Panchayat due to his father's late economic takeoff.

In an exclusive conversation with Mashable India, the actor shared candidly about his early life, including his experiences of growing up with his grandfather, who owned an art gallery that ultimately went bust. "My grandfather had an art gallery but it wasn't doing well," Sarbh said. "After that, my dad started earning money relatively late in life, so we lived on a tight budget."

The actor's father was reportedly not from a high economic bracket, and the Sarbh family often found themselves struggling financially. Despite the challenges, Jim Sarbh managed to build a successful career for himself in Bollywood, taking on notable roles in projects such as "Made in Heaven" and "Rocket Boys".

Sarbh then revealed that he spent time living in a beautiful building in Malabar Hill, but clarified that they were not afforded it due to their financial constraints. "A couple of years I lived in a building in South Bombay, Malabar Hill," he said without any hint of bitterness, showing resilience and perseverance against all odds.
