FOX ANNOUNCES NEW COMEDY SERIES 'BEST MEDICINE' STARRING JOSH CHARLES, AMERICANIZED VARIETY OF HIT BRITISH SHOW 'DOC MARTIN'

Los Angeles, May 11, 2025 - Fox Entertainment has greenlit a new hour-long comedy series titled 'Best Medicine', with Emmy-nominated actor Josh Charles set to star as the lead character. The show is an Americanized adaptation of the acclaimed British series 'Doc Martin', which has captivated audiences worldwide with its unique blend of humor and humanity.
According to reports, the series will follow a successful Boston surgeon who leaves his high-powered job to become a general practitioner in a quaint East Coast fishing village where he spent his childhood summers. The show promises to bring an American twist to the beloved UK format, promising viewers 'idyllic charm and absurdity'.
