Fortnite OG: Chapter 1 Season 2 Unleashes Retro Skins, New Secret Quests and Epic Loot Pool Overhaul
Epic Games has once again left gamers eager for more with the latest update to Fortnite OG: Chapter 1 Season 2, which will run until March 25 this year. The Seasonal Update brings back a host of nostalgic elements, old favorites, including some OG skins that last launched in 2017.
The game's coveted OG Battle Pass now features three new skins - the Knight Conqueror, Cuddle Team Specialist, and Sparkle Diva - which were originally introduced back in Chapter 1 Season 2. These outfits have made a comeback with some fresh alt styles, making their way to players who aim for the maximum level within the seasonal pass.
Each of these skins can be obtained as part of the Battle Pass, paired alongside emotes, sprays, back blings, pickaxes, and gliders, that match perfectly with each new skin introduced in this update. Although not particularly rewarding in their own right, getting to these skin items through a 1,000 V-Bucks or $9 investment from an optional subscription called Fortnite Crew.
These nostalgic additions find their way into the game's inventory along side fresh weapon loot; for instance some more typical weapons like the Crossbow, the Minigun and the Multi-Surface Damage Trap.
In addition the players will be able to visit iconic locations such as Junk Junction, Tilted Towers, Shifty Shafts, a change brought to their previously static Fortnite world. On another note Epic Games have introduced four brand-new secret quests into the mix of gameplay with 4 hidden paths that can only become accessible once a player has completed all of certain tasks.
Fortnite OG: Chapter 1 Season 2 runs from January 31 until its conclusion in March this year, and will continue to be available on multiple platforms such as iOS, Android, mobile phones, PCs, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, S, and One
