FANS SAY IT'S TEST CRICKET FOR KOHLI; COACHES POINT TO LIMITED-OVERS

New Delhi, Australia - Amidst ongoing speculation over Virat Kohli's most successful format, a recent series of fan interactions in Australia has reignited the debate. During his recent visit to an Australian fan, a young lad asked Kohli about his favorite form of cricket.

"It was a Saxophone! He (Virat) signed it with a huge smile," reads a screengrab from the fan's social media post.

This delightful moment showcased Kohli's affectionate nature towards fans. However, on-field struggles continued to mar his performance. Virat fell prey to Australian bowler Scott Boland for the fourth time in consecutive tests, and eighth time overall within a span of 9 innings as he edged out at Second Slip while attempting a drive.

On Day One, Kohli had managed an early score but eventually lost out after facing another loss to SC Boland when he got edged by Beau Webster at slip before India could mount a strong counter-attack.

Despite Kohli's disappointing start & occasional struggles outside the off-stump,  'Team India bounced back strongly as it finished 141/6 & a total of 324 while also sending Australia on the chutney in reply to their First Innings Total, which was scored against them in little over three sessions and reduced greatly with some quality displays from experienced cricketers like Mohammed Siraj (3/51), Prasidh Krishna (31 wickets for a price to be found.)

Rishabh pant on the other hand managed an outstanding 61 off just 33 deliveries & broke his own record set earlier in the Test Series. Pant is well renowned within cricket circles for setting boundaries with ease at all forms of the game; although that could have been tested even more if he had got some support from his teammates.

Australia still need to recover to maintain their overall lead, while India are on course for claiming a crucial five-test series following Day 2 . The match will now resume and hopefully this will provide what needs most - Virat Kohli's consistent innings.
