Eastern Railway Open Recruitment for 60 Sportsperson Posts

Kolkata: Eastern Railway has announced its latest recruitment drive inviting applicants to apply for 60 Sportsperson posts. The application window is open from November 15, 2024, to December 14, 2024, and can be submitted online through the Eastern Railway website at http://www.rrcer.org/.

As per the notification, applicants are advised to carefully read the employment details before applying for the positions. The recruitment process will assess sportspersons in terms of their sports achievements since April 1, 2022.

Eligible candidates must possess a degree or equivalent for Group 'C', Level-4/Level-5 posts; 12th pass or equivalent and ITI or equivalent for Group 'C' Level-2/Level-3 posts; and 10th pass or equivalent or ITI or equivalent for Group 'D' Level-I posts.

The age constraint for sportspersons is between 18 years to 25 years. The selection process will comprise sports trials, sports achievements, proficiency, and physical fitness evaluations.

A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500 will be charged from all applicants except those in the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), women, minority communities, and Economically Backward Classes (EBC). The special category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 250.
