DP World Appoints Sahdev Bhatt as Senior Director and Head of Talent Acquisition

Dubai-based DP World has announced the appointment of Sahdev Bhatt, a seasoned human resource professional, as its new senior director and head of talent acquisition-SCO (Strategic Corporate Operations). This move marks an significant escalation in Bhatt's career, following his successful stint at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, where he served as head-talent acquisition since 2023.

Bhatt started his career with Pipavav Shipyard in 2008 as Executive-HR and over the years has demonstrated remarkable ascension through various roles. He became associate manager-strategic HR partner at Adani Power in 2010 before leading the leadership hiring for the entire energy business of the Adani Group for nearly seven years, based out of Ahmedabad.

In 2017, Bhatt joined Tata Motors as deputy general manager (lead talent acquisition)-human resources and spearheaded end-to-end lateral talent acquisition across all businesses, successfully driving his tenure for six and a half years from Mumbai and Ahmedabad. By the year 2021 he was promoted to deputy general manager (lead business partner HR) sales and marketing-CVBU, showcasing his multifaceted skillset.

Following an acclaimed stint at Tata Motors lasting over six and a half years, Sahdev Bhatt took up the challenging role of head-talent acquisition at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India in September 2023. A holder of two prestigious master’s degrees: an MSW in HR from Maharaja Sayajirao University as well as certifications from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) and XLRI Jamshedpur for an HR analytics course, Bhatt's profile stands out among high-ranking HR professionals.
