DHL Express Named Top Company in World's Best Workplaces for 2024

Copenhagen (Denmark) - DHL Express, a leading transportation and logistics giant, has been ranked as the top company on The Great Place to Work's list of World's Best Workplaces for 2024. This recognition is based on feedback from over 7.4 million employees across more than 20 million people worldwide.

Hilton, the hotelier, takes second place in the ranking, while AbbVie, a biotechnology and pharmaceutical company, lands third spot. The list features companies across various industries, including IT, professional services, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals, with these sectors contributing nearly half of the winners.

The study found that employees at the top-performing companies report higher levels of engagement and dedication to their work. Specifically, 55 per cent more employees state that their managers care about them beyond their role as employees, compared to a typical workplace. Additionally, 48 per cent more employees say that leaders embody their company's values.

Another key metric measured by the study is promotion fairness. While less than half of employees in typical workplaces feel that promotions are fairly awarded, The World's Best Workplaces exceed this benchmark by 60 per cent.

The global rankings offer valuable insights into what makes companies stand out as leaders in providing a positive work environment and rewarding employees for their contributions.
