Delhi's Air Quality Deteriorates to 'Very Poor' Category, Smog Engulfs Iconic Landmarks

New Delhi - The national capital is currently grappling with severe air pollution, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) registering in the 'very poor' category across multiple locations, as reported by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

At Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JLN), the AQI has spiked to 316, indicating hazardous air quality that not only reduces visibility but also poses significant health risks to the residents.

The city's iconic landmarks, including India Gate and Vijay Chowk, are shrouded in a dense smog, further highlighting the extent of the pollution crisis.

The persistent poor air quality continues to be a major concern, calling for immediate action to mitigate the environmental and health impacts on Delhi's population.
