Delhi Shop Owner's Daymarishes After Lawyer Rams Mercedes into Kachori Store
In a shocking incident that has left the residents of Delhi reeling, six people were injured when a speeding Mercedes car, driven by a lawyer, crashed into a Kachori shop in the Civil Lines area. The collision took place at Fateh Kachori and eyewitnesses stated that the lawyer was traveling at an aggressive pace before deliberately hitting the store, causing significant damage.
The police have arrested Parag Maini, 35, described as a Noida-based lawyer living in Sector 79, on charges of rash driving under Sections 279 and 337 of the Indian Penal Code. "We are investigating the circumstances that led to this incident and are talking to witnesses," said the police.
The victims have been rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment, with their condition currently classified as stable but critical by the medical staff. Officials from local authorities have assured to take legal action against Maini and vowed to ensure justice is served to those affected in the disaster.
