Delhi Sees Boost in Healthcare Infrastructure as CM Gupta Inaugurates 50 New Medical Centres

New Delhi, [Current Date] - Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today inaugurated a total of 33 Ayushman Arogya Mandir and 17 Jan Aushadhi Kendra in the national capital, marking a significant milestone in the country's efforts to enhance healthcare infrastructure. Speaking at the event, CM Gupta announced plans to inaugurate over 1,100 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs across Delhi within the next eight months by March next year.
Addressing the audience, Gupta expressed her disappointment over the previous corruption-plagued Aam Aadmi Party-led government for failing to materialize this project, despite receiving ₹2,400 crore from the Centre five years ago. The new healthcare infrastructure aims to provide vital primary healthcare services, boasting a permanent structure and essential facilities.
The Ayushman Arogya Mandir, Gupta explained, will serve as a major upgrade over the previous Mohalla Clinics, offering a more comprehensive array of medical services. With its launch, Delhi is poised to reap the benefits of improved healthcare infrastructure, providing citizens with enhanced access to quality medical care.
Meanwhile, Gupta took aim at the opposition Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing them of abandoning this project during their tenure, leaving Delhi with subpar healthcare facilities. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of robust health infrastructure in a rapidly growing city like Delhi.
