Ahmedabad, Gujarat: In a heart-stirring performance that left the audience in awe, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin bid farewell to India on Sunday night, ending his country-wide tour at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium. The British rock band's final concert in India was held exactly at 8 pm, coinciding with Republic Day celebrations.

With over 1.25 lakh spectators present at the stadium, the electric atmosphere was palpable as Martin and crew kicked off their performance with "High Power". Fans waved flashlights to add a confetti of lights to the proceedings, making it an unforgettable night. The setlist included hits like "Adventure of a Lifetime" and "Paradise".

During the interval between tracks, Martin took time out to dedicate words of gratitude to the Indian audience. Greeting fans in Hindi, he expressed his heartfelt thanks for their support throughout the tour.

"Notable naahin jhooth hai ki humeba kabiyan mil rahe hai - We are really happy to be here...Happy Republic Day to everybody in India," Martin said in a beautiful tribute to the nation's founding day."

The singer also showcased an unexpected moment of musical tribute to Indian music legend ABRAHAM'S 'maaa Tujhe salaam' from his band, amidst a live video clip.

Coldplay fans, who enjoyed three sold-out shows earlier this month and fourth concert on Saturday night in Ahmedabad, watched in awe as Martin, dressed with a sea blue shirt, brought out the house. This marked Coldplay's final performance in India, as part of their 'Music of the Spheres World Tour'.

During his live show last Sunday, Chris led to a standing ovation from the crowd and made special appearances, including switching between Hindi to Gujarati for his tribute fans.
