Chris Martin Pays Tribute to India with Emotional Performance at Narendra Modi Stadium

Ahmedabad, Gujarat - In a heartwarming gesture on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, Coldplay's frontman, Chris Martin, dedicated an emotional performance to India. During his concert at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, Martin sang iconic songs "Vande Mataram" and "Maa Tujhhe Salaam", leaving the audience spellbound.

The crowd erupted into loud cheers and applause as Martin delivered a soulful tribute to India. Concluding his performance with a heartfelt message, he said "Salute to Mother India" and wished everyone a happy Republic Day.

In another special moment during the concert, Chris dedicated a song to Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah, jokingly saying that he didn't like watching him destroy the English batting lineup with his fiery bowling. This cheeky dig was part of the entertainment that thrilled fans at the stadium.

Indian singer Jasleen Royal joined Martin on stage for a rousing duet of "We Pray", a hit track from Coldplay's latest album, Moon Music. The concert also included a special shoutout to Shah Rukh Khan during his performance in Mumbai earlier this month.

Sunday's show was live-streamed exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar, offering fans worldwide the opportunity to experience the emotional performance.

The Ahmedabad concerts marked the last stop of Coldplay's India tour, which included stops in Mumbai on January 19 and 21, followed by two shows in Ahmedabad. With Chris Martin's heartfelt tribute to India, fans will always remember this unforgettable evening at Narendra Modi Stadium.
